About Attorney Virginia Street LLC
Attorney Street understands family matters and is strongly protective of her client’s legal and moral rights.  She assists her clients in identifying future-oriented solutions tailored to each person’s individual needs.  She works predominantly in the Hartford and Tolland county court districts.

Attorney Street was awarded a J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut and joined the Connecticut Bar in 1996.  She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Education from Trinity College in Hartford and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Connecticut in Storrs.  She also attended Pennsylvania State University and served an internship with the Department of Justice, Eighth Circuit, in Minneapolis 1994.

She is a member of the Collaborative Divorce Professionals of Connecticut, Hartford County Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Advice Day Volunteer Program at the Hartford Superior Court. 

Attorney Street has been employed as a contract attorney and guardian ad litem in the Juvenile and Superior Courts and as a public school teacher prior to her work as an attorney.  She served as a courtroom clerk in the Hartford Superior Court for Family Matters in 1998 and 1999 and opened her offices for private practice of family law in 2000.  She was born in New York City, lived in New York and New Jersey prior to moving to Connecticut and currently resides in Hartford County. 

In the community, she has been on the Boards of several organizations, including Vernon Education Association, the Westender newspaper in Hartford, the Noah Webster PTA and the St. Alban's Preschool.  She has also served as a Volunteer for the Red Cross, at the Wadsworth Atheneum, Interval House and Connecticut Legal Services.

She enjoys perennial gardening, art and travel as well as the company of her four children and six grandchildren.
